I love what you've done with this, taking Garbriel's perspective--I really like that throughout there's just this sense that something is wrong, something he can't quite put his finger on.
Love him dreaming the alternative realities, and imagining being with other people while he's with Mohinder--just tiny glimpses of other worlds. And the end--poor Gabriel, but then, there's a sense of relief there, that what he suspected isn't merely pessimism, it's actual fact.
his normal little world is finally falling into place where he's always feared it belonged. I really like this line--the mixture of relief and fear he feels, the knowing that he was right and the fear that brings to him--wonderful!
