OMG fun - oh the manlove of it all! Marton makes an extremely tasty addition I must say.
This fic is a really old one and I have a fairly distant perspective on it now, so it felt really appropriate to be reading a remix of it that takes an outsider character's perspective on things. Thank you for engaging so closely with the characterisation from the original story and especially for resurrecting Karl's twitchy leg of doom! The original fic provoked a lot of discussion at the time of publication (on yahoo groups! back in the age of the dinosaurs :D) as to whether the Harry/Karl relationship dynamic was radically dysfunctional or just spiky-sexy. Clearly Marton holds the former opinion, and as his convictions lead to such scenic results, I am hardly going to argue!
Anyway, this really got me thinking (enjoyably) about the themes of the original story again, so thank you so much.
