I was right, it was one I’d read previously. As it happens, I read it before the story you remixed to produce it.
And, it was long enough ago that I honestly can’t determine which elements might or might not have contributed to this remix. The basic notion was in my mind for a long time, but the little fillip of using someone else’s DNA to round things out … maybe. Maybe.
So, in a sense, what happened in our stories may be similar to what happened between our stories.
