And a fine way to focus in on the straw that breaks the back of Rodney's Keller-fixation (the book inscription) also clinching the romance/true understanding John has of Rodney. A lovely, realistic touch--at the end, John's thinking that Rodney's talking about sex (however fine) when he's really still agog at John's effort to have Tyson understand Rodney's scientific prowess.
