Almost didn't read it because I'm not a big Rose fan (I am, however, a big Mickey fan), but decided to so after booster17's recommendation. I'm so glad I did.
I think this hit all the right notes. This was a wonderful twist on what was essentially a crack!fic. Lovely mirroring of how both Jake and Rose are doing the same thing, and how Mickey seems to be the only person who's actually with the people he's with.
A wonderfully well constructed and well thought-out story.
