I think I needed to know the characters and have read the original fic to understand what it going on here, but I don't so I can't. I will say that the atmosphere is very sensual, almost syrupy like a good high on a warm, lazy day. It's the little blips of intense awareness of details and the vague, floaty sameness and timelessness. Very interesting.
