Oh, yay! I love Jo and all the different ways it goes for her. I'm really struck by the idea of her making a deal for Ellen, which Ellen would of course never want her to do. It shows the perversity of the hunting life, with the natural order reversed and ignored; children dying before parents, life bought with Hell. And I always love accidental discovery, as in the last part.
