This was completely amazing; the blending of the two universes works so well. I know that Firefly seems to lend itself to crossovers, but this is just an amazing synthesis. It's the thread of the "crisis of faith" and how closely the characters seem related (hurrah for Dean reflected in everyone!) and the immortal viewpoint of Castiel, whom you write gorgeously. I love his interactions with Dean. Well, with everyone, but the fact that he still goes to Dean...and the Dr. Phil comment, pffft Cas is now the funniest angel in the garrison, lol.
The characters are all quite in character. Very very beautiful! :)))
