I may have to revise my opinion of remixes. I've seen some really good ones recently, and this is *really* cool. I've always loved the notion of a sort of outside narrator, and this one is tantalizing - she seems canny and shrewd and maybe just a little malicious, in a small way. And I love the way the reader is compelled to re-examine Denethor's motives; it shifts things, like a leaf dropped onto the surface of a pond, but enough that the pond is changed, however subtly. I really, really enjoyed this - thank you!
