First, I must apologize for my tardiness in replying. It was a busy sort of week and this is the first chance I've had to sit down and really read.

I'm a little bit surprised that this particular fic was chosen to be remixed as it was really a silly sort of drabble, but you did well by it. It's a complete reversal of the original tone without losing the thread of the story and is a very plausible approach to the scene from Akabane's point of view.

You also have a real gift for description and each scene is like ripe fruit - full and juicy without being overly rich or cloying.
