Yeah, I still feel all sorts of ambivalent things about Chiana's scenes with the younger Crichton in Kansas, even after re-watching the episode years later. On one hand, yeah, this is absolutely Chi being Chi and manipulating things in her favor. On the other, Crichton knows that, and it shows a level of trust he wasn't giving anybody at that point (probably not even Aeryn).
