Fabulous. I really loved this story, could see Dean inking that snake onto himself, over and over. So much pain here, and you strike just the right balance of showing it to us while Dean avoids it.

maybe it was like that Velveteen Rabbit thing, making itself real after being played so many times Like Dean, made real by the love of his family.
