I'm glad this worked out for you. I was really drawn to the possibilities in this one and was hoping you wouldn't mind me putting a different spin on it instead of just remixing it as is. I wanted to put more time into it so I hear what you said about the fest deadline. I just kept picking it up and putting it down, not sure what to change, so finally I just let it go with the hopes it would meet with your approval as is. I think it was just such a subtle yet important theme I felt pressured to do a good job with it, you know? In the end, adding the two girls and changing the ending slightly is what helped. I wanted some external reminder that the world isn't that bad and that Ianto's world isn't as judgmental as he fears it might be.
FWIW, this one was easy to pick out of all the TW choices. But I still randomly pop out to my roommate saying "Also, Ianto is a dolphin". ROFL Gah, The Sea Change will stick in my head for ages, it will. /big grin/
