This is just SO lovely! I only just started wading into the GO fandom about a month ago, and I have to say that it's quality pieces like this that keep drawing me in (and wanting to evangelize to others).
But the exchanges between them perfectly capture the half-bickering, half-affectionate tone of the book, and your Crowley... oh, he's marvelous. Just exactly as I like him, all skittishness and questioning and longing and uncertainty, trying to keep the mess hidden beneath those smooth mannerisms and not quite succeeding. Of course, Aziraphale sees right through him to all the mess, and loves him all the more for it. I also love that matter-of-factness about your Aziraphale, how unflustered and unashamed he is. He really is exactly what Crowley needs.
