Thanks. One of the things that I find most frustrating about most Star Trek's (DS9 often, though not always provided a corrective to this) was the lack of alienness. It's not just that so many people in Star Fleet, our primary interface with the universe, are human, but that the humanness is unmarked, which stops it from feeling alien.
