Oh, thank you! One thing I liked most about your story was the way Snape had a sort of caricature of Petunia in his head and didn't try to understand her as a person. I liked reversing that so Petunia has her own mental caricature of Snape. They both remain set in their ideas about each other from childhood, so when you're reading one's point of view, it's hard to say quite what the other is thinking, and whether the other has moved on or learned anything at all.

I confess to finding Dudley adorable in the opening of DH, when he's trying to be nice and friendly to Harry and has no idea how to do that. So I hold out hope that he built on that foundation and became a worthwhile adult, and that Harry was willing to meet him halfway and establish some sort of friendly relationship (however distant it might be in practice).
