Found this story in the crack_broom  and will definitely rec it on my journal later on.

It's a truly brilliant piece that gives Petunia more of a backstory, which she deserves. I thought her cruelty towards Harry was very unfounded in the books, but this fic gives more sense to her actions and reasoning.
I liked the idea of Harry and Dudley staying in touch, and that Dudley realises how hard it was for Harry to grow up in their house and that he defends Harry in front of Vernon.
