Oh, I love this! Thank you so much! Drusilla is one of my favorite characters, and she can be a challenge to write, but you do a wonderful job with her here. She's such a tragic character with her mixture of evil and innocence, and it must be maddening to see what's going to happen and have so little control over it at the same time, and you do a great job of describing that. Some beautiful prose as well, and I love all the imagery about stirring the pot.

This line is particularly lovely:
Dru liked the taste of children, their freckles tiny sparks of sunshine burning against her tongue.
